Today, iVote will present its proprietary Demokra election management platform at the MASIT ICT Awards for outstanding achievements in the field of information technology. iVote Demokra has been nominated in the category “Public sector ICT excellence award”. In this category, nominated solutions need to be implemented by the state administration, local government or nonprofit organizations, enabling increased efficiency and transparency.
Demokra with all of its versions and updates is leveraging Macedonian elections since 2006 and had contributed towards most transparent and credible election results. More than 116 million voters processed around the world have trusted Demokra. Besides the processing of all electoral processes, Demokra system contains e-learning management module designed for distant training and education of SEC staff.
MASIT, the ICT Chamber of Commerce, as a member of WITSA (World Information Technology and Services Alliance) will nominate first winning solutions to participate at the WITSA 2014 Global ICT Excellence Awards under the World Congress on IT that will be held on 30th September in Guadalajara, Mexico.
The grand jury composed of IT experts will evaluate contestants according certain criteria. The proclamation of the winners in each category will be in the end of the event.
