iVote, the leading provider of e-learning and elections management systems, signed a contract with the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) to provide an Epistum Learning Management System for training of the Central Election Commission in the Kyrgyz Republic. The project is financed through IFES by the United States Agency for International Development. IFES has the goal of providing technical solutions that will increase the capacities of the Election Commission and of the commissioners on the field that will lead to better-organized elections processes, better transparency and strengthened civil society. Epistum LMS is a fully – functional, highly adaptable, web-based system that provides useful tools for enhancing professional expertise and soft skills through on-line lessons, interactive courses, videos, conferences, downloadable training materials and presentations.
“With this project we are starting international expansion in the Central Asian region, according to our projected annual business plan for broadening internationally. iVote’s expertise and long-term, rich experience in this field, together with the proposed technical solution were crucial to be awarded the contract. Epistum LMS is a very simple-to-use platform enabling personalized, tailored content to the various groups of users to increase their level of expertise in the specific area of work”, said Mr. Tomislav Zografski, CEO of iVote.
In the initial phase, iVote will provide SCORM packages with interactive courses that will introduce users with the system functionalities and advantages. Users will be divided in different groups with restrictive access to the materials based of privileges. A large contingent of concurrent users will have access to the system at any time regardless of their physical location.
