iVote, as a subcontracted company by the Spanish partner Scytl Secure Electronic Voting, S.A., participated in the creation of the technical solution for the “Elections Operation and Results Reconciliation software” for the national elections in Ecuador, held on 17.02.2013. With this software solution, 46.701.764 votes were processed. The results processing began at 17:00 , right after the closing of the 40,000 polling stations all over Ecuador. The first, unofficial results with processed 90% of the results of all polling stations, were announced at 22:00  local time the same day. For official results please visit http://resultados.cne.gob.ec/.
