iVote delegation participated at the 2016 SME Assembly by personal invitation from Kristin Schreiber, European Commission Director for SME Policy, and Marián Letovanec, SME Envoy, Slovak Business Agency. The SME Assembly took place in Bratislava, Slovakia on 23-25 November 2016.

The SME Assembly is the event of the year for Europe’s SMEs and entrepreneurs, and those that support them. The Assembly focuses on how to make SME policy work on the ground, in order for Europe’s SMEs to really thrive.

“It is a great opportunity to have the chance to contribute in the development of EU SME policy together with well-known partners from the business, academia, policy making and media and co-create innovative ways of cooperation for effective support for entrepreneurs”, says Prof. Ljupcho Antovski, iVote Board member.

The Assembly was organized by the European Commission, in co-operation with the Slovakian Presidency of the EU.
