On March 12, 2020 the iVote team was presenting the mobile application ‘The role of the police during the 2020 Early Parliamentary Elections’, representing an online training course in cooperation with OSCE and the received input from the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

The training courses are SCORM files uploaded on the Learning Management System – Epistum. The LMS is based on Moodle platform, a platform widely used for developing e-learning systems, and it is used as a software application for administration, documentation, following and access to e – learning educational courses and training modules. The system is highly scalable, using the server structure of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and integrated with Active Directory which provides access for all police officers and staff.

The mobile app is used as an internal course of the Ministry of Internal Affairs employees for education in relation to their role during the Elections. It is presented as an online course, Android application, iOS application and PDF handbook.

The event was also attended by the Head of the OSCE Mission, Ambassador Clemens Koja, who stated that the OSCE mission would always be available to the Ministry of Interior when it comes to police professionalization and modernization efforts.
